Job description

Social Worker positions (x2) within the TYPSS 15+ team.

We look to appoint:

  • 1 32‑hour Social Worker (hybrid working)
  • 1 Full‑time Social Worker (hybrid working)

We support Young People between 15‑25 with complex support needs. The team works with

  • Children looked after
  • Young People subject to child‑protection plans
  • Young People at the edge of care

The primary focus is to offer consistent support and prepare them for independence. As a social worker you work closely with Young Persons Advisors, enabling resilience on leaving care through realistic Pathway Plans.

Team structure:

  • 1 Team Manager
  • 2 Assistant Team Managers
  • 5 Social Workers
  • 5 YPAs
  • 2 CSWs
  • 1 Drop‑in Coordinator

Registration with Social Care Wales is required for this post.
