Based on the South Coast, you'll join a high-performing safeguarding team where court work is integrated into the role rather than sitting within a separate court team. With experienced, supportive managers, capped caseloads, and a flexible approach to hybrid working, you'll have the environment to deliver high-quality practice while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

You’ll be joining a highly regarded local authority children’s service recognised for its Outstanding safeguarding practice. The service is stable, well-led, and committed to supporting experienced social workers through realistic workloads

• Manage a safeguarding caseload, including children subject to care proceedings.
• Prepare high-quality assessments, court statements, and care plans.
• Undertake statutory safeguarding interventions to protect children at risk.
• Work collaboratively with families, legal services, and partner agencies to achieve timely outcomes.

• Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
• Recent safeguarding experience including court work.
• Strong knowledge of child protection processes and care proceedings.
• Confident managing complex cases and producing high-quality court reports.
