Social Worker - Response Team - Children & Families

Would you like to step into a role where your decisions directly influence the safety and future of children and families on the Isle of Man?

As a Social Worker within our Initial Response Team, you’ll be the first point of contact for those needing support. You’ll assess needs, analyse risk, respond to concerns, work jointly with police and partner agencies, and guide families through challenging situations with clarity and compassion.

This role gives you the chance to use your professional judgement, communication skills and empathy in a setting where they make a real difference. You’ll develop your practice, build confidence in fast paced decision making and play a key part in safeguarding children at the earliest stage. Please note, you must have UK initial response and/or assessment experience.

• A relocation package of up to £7,000 based on receipts is available for this role. Housing Assistance is also available where the Department will pay the difference between your current mortgage/rent bill, and that of your new accommodation on the Isle of Man, up to a maximum of £250 per month. This role also qualifies for a recruitment incentive of £3,000, payable in the 1st, 13th, and 25th months of employment.
