Overview
Stirling Council are seeking three dedicated permanent janitors to join our newly established facilities team at Balfron High School, Stirling.
Working patternSuccessful candidates will work five days per week, scheduled over a seven-day period, Monday through Sunday. Workdays may vary and include weekends on a rota basis. Janitorial services will be provided Monday to Friday with a reduced service will work eight hours per day (including a 1-hour unpaid break) on a rota basis. Posts are 52.2 weeks per year (35 hours per week) and paid at Stirling Council Grade 4.
Professionalgrounding and support
Personal protective equipment and training will be provided. Applicants should be physically fit, as porterage and other heavy lifting form a large part of the role, and be prepared to work weekends on a shift basis and at times outdoors in inclement weather. A basic working knowledge of IT is required, with willingness to undertake training to use Stirling Council’s online training and human resources IT applications.
