ADHD Assessor - Children & Young People

Salary: £45,000–£50,000 per year (depending on experience)

Leaders in Care are currently supporting a well-established private clinic in the West Midlands, for an experienced and compassionate Children & Young People's ADHD Assessment Clinician to join their growing service.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality ADHD assessments for children and young people. The role offers a hybrid working pattern, with a mixture of face-to-face assessments at the clinic and remote working, giving you a great work life balance. You will play a key role in providing timely, evidence-based assessments, supporting accurate diagnostic decision-making and helping families access the care and guidance they need.

Key responsibilities:

Carry out structured ADHD assessments for children and young people.
Gather information from parents, carers, schools and clinical records.
Complete developmental histories and assess functional impact.
Present cases at multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings.
Provide clear feedback and recommendations to families.
Produce high-quality clinical reports and maintain accurate records.
Identify and escalate safeguarding concerns where appropriate.
Take part in clinical supervision, service improvement and professional development.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work within a supportive private clinical setting that values collaboration, professional development and high standards of patient care.

If you're an experienced clinician with at least 12 months' experience carrying out ADHD assessments for children and young people, we'd love to hear from you. For more information or to apply, please contact Chris on (phone number removed) or email (url removed)
