Position: Part-Time HIPPY Home Visitor Hybrid Role
Join the Pacific Immigrant Resources Society as a part-time HIPPY Home Visitor. This role focuses on enhancing early childhood education support for families in a hybrid work environment.

You will play a vital role in serving newcomer and low-income families as a part-time contractor from September 2026 to July 2027. Your job is to empower parents to become their child's first teacher through weekly home visits, facilitating school readiness and family wellbeing. Candidates should possess strong organizational skills and a community-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct weekly visits to support families

• Model HIPPY activities to encourage learning

• Build trusting relationships through ongoing support

• Maintain accurate participant records

• Represent PIRS at community outreach events

Requirements:

• High school diploma and relevant family support experience

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Adaptability in diverse family settings

• Bilingual abilities are valued

• Must pass a criminal record check
