Specialist in Child Development Services

Join Labrador-Grenfell Health as a Specialist in Child Development Services, focusing on early intervention programs for children struggling with developmental delays. This role involves both in-person and virtual service delivery options to support families.

In this role, you will develop, implement, and monitor individualized teaching plans for children, especially those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. You will also conduct developmental screening using various tools, compile reports, and collaborate with other professionals in social, health, and education sectors. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee home-based early intervention for children

• Assist families to navigate significant developmental challenges

• Create tailored behavioral/skill teaching programs

• Prepare accurate technical reports and assessments

• Collaborate with various professionals in child support

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences required

• Preference will be given to Psychology graduates

• Knowledge in development, family-centered approaches

• Strong organization and communication skills

• Travel may be required across the region
