ADHD Assessor - Children & Young People
Salary: £45,000–£50,000 per year (depending on experience)
Leaders in Careare currently supporting a well-established private clinic in the West Midlands, for an experienced and compassionate Children & Young People's ADHD Assessment Clinician to join their growing service

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality ADHD assessments for children and young people. The role offers a hybrid working pattern
, with a mixture of face-to-face assessments at the clinic and remote working, giving you a great work life balance.You will play a key role in providing timely, evidence-based assessments, supporting accurate diagnostic decision-making and helping families access the care and guidance they need.
Key responsibilities:
- Carry out structured ADHD assessments for children and young people.
- Gather information from parents, carers, schools and clinical records.
- Complete developmental histories and assess functional impact.
- Present cases at multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings.
- Provide clear feedback and recommendations to families.
- Produce high-quality clinical reports and maintain accurate records.
- Identify and escape safeguarding concerns where appropriate.
- Take part in clinical supervision, service improvement and professional development.
