This position is exclusively open to current fostering service staff working within our nine Foster4 Local Authorities:
Cheshire East, Cheshire West and Chester, Halton, Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens, Warrington, and Wirral.
Join our dedicated regional fostering hub, Foster4 to recruit and assess the next generation of foster carers and help us deliver excellent outcomes for children and families.
You will focus on high-quality assessments with no case management or placement duties.
Your focus will be on producing high-quality assessments, overseeing the foster carer journey from expression of interest to approval.
You will conduct initial home visits to evaluate prospective foster carers and complete comprehensive assessments within statutory timescales, presenting detailed assessment reports clearly to the regional Fostering Panel.
Based within Warrington Borough Council, this role requires working flexibly across the wider Cheshire and Merseyside region as needed.

The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
DBS clearance is required.
