The Home Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations and service delivery of a Transitional Home , ensuring a safe, organized, and supportive environment for clients. This role focuses on team coordination, program delivery, and operational execution , working closely with the Homes Manager. The Home Coordinator supports client transitions, service coordination, and overall home functioning , while ensuring alignment with organizational standards and processes.

What

You’ll Do
  • Team Coordination & Support
  • Support daily team operations and contribute to setting and tracking goals.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative team environment and support conflict resolution as needed.
  • Work with stakeholders to support smooth and successful client transitions .
  • Program Delivery & Client Support
  • Support coordination of casework, referrals, and advocacy efforts .
  • Organize and facilitate in-home activities that support resident wellbeing and independence.
  • Adapt to changing client needs and support timely responses to operational or client-related situations .
  • Respond to emails, intake inquiries, and client needs in a timely manner.
  • Support coordination of resident move-ins and move-outs .
  • Volunteers & Community Support
  • Coordinate and supervise volunteers and placement students .
  • Ensure effective integration of volunteers into program activities and resident support.
  • Administration & Reporting
  • Ensure completion of daily and monthly reporting requirements .
  • Support implementation of program and contractual reporting obligations .
  • Track and monitor home-related expenses , including use of internal systems.
  • Assistin preparing and submitting monthly reports .
  • Participate in trainings and team meetings as required.
  • Financial & Resource Coordination
  • Support oversight of home budget spending within approved guidelines.
  • Track expenses andmaintainproper documentation.
  • Assistin ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Supplies, Inventory & Donations
  • Manage inventory of groceries, household items, and donations .
  • Coordinate with donors and ensure appropriateness of items.
  • Maintain organized storage andaccurateinventory records.
  • Facility Operations & Maintenance
  • Support the safe and effective operation of the home during operational hours.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and liaise with service providers.
  • Ensure adherence to safety procedures and basic emergency protocols.
  • Outreach & Awareness
  • Stay informed on issues related to gender-based violence and client needs .
  • Support collaboration with internal teams to enhance client support and service coordination .
Ad Hoc Duties
  • Participate inadditionalmeetings and undertake related responsibilities as reasonably assigned, including special projects, cross-departmental initiatives, and other tasks necessary to support the effective operation of the organization.

What We’re Looking For
  • 2–4+ years in social services, community programs, or residential support roles
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations
  • Experience in coordination or administrative support roles
