Attention all social work professionals! We have an exciting opportunity for an Adults Social Worker to join a dynamic multi-disciplinary team in the vibrant town of Bolton, Lancashire. This role offers a chance to make a real difference in the community over a period of 3 months. With a competitive pay rate of £30.00 per hour, flexible working between 8:00 am and 7:00 pm, and a standard 37-hour work week, this temporary position provides a fantastic work-life balance.

What you will do
- Undertake strengths-based assessments in accordance with the Care Act 2014.
- Complete Care Act assessments, carers assessments, and create person-centred support plans.
- Assist service users in accessing suitable universal and voluntary sector services.
- Manage a diverse and active caseload to ensure effective service delivery.
- Participate in a duty rota, responding to referrals with timely information and advice at the initial point of contact.
- Conduct safeguarding enquiries and investigations to protect vulnerable adults.
- Perform Continuing Healthcare (CHC) assessments.
- Attend and contribute to multi-agency meetings, collaborating with health professionals and partner agencies.
- Apply the principles of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and related social work legislation in daily practice.
