As the Provincial Justice Coordinator, you will navigate complex justice systems to advocate for the needs of Métis people. This role entails managing a large-scale initiative designed to address systemic barriers and provide personalized support through a culturally grounded approach. You will collaborate with various justice and community partners, ensuring a holistic service delivery model.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee an access to justice initiative with strategic planning
• Enhance collaborations with external partners and agencies
• Manage case files and document interactions meticulously
• Offer direct, culturally informed support to Métis individuals
• Handle Ministry communications and respond to inquiries
Requirements:
• At least five years’ experience in social or legal sectors
• Diploma or higher in a related field is preferred
• Strong communication skills tailored for sensitive subjects
• Comprehensive knowledge of justice issues affecting Métis
• Ability to obtain a Class 5 driver’s license if required
Champion Métis justice initiatives and support the community through dedicated and informed actions.
