World Renew seeks a Temporary Safeguarding Specialist for a 90-day position, with a possibility for an extension. You will provide specialized expertise in safeguarding, focusing on risk management, training, and policy development. This role requires a strong commitment to accountability and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to ensure effective safeguarding measures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead safeguarding policy review and development

• Assess safeguards, identify risks, and recommend improvements

• Integrate safeguarding practices into program designs

• Design and deliver safeguarding training initiatives

• Prepare reports and maintain safeguarding documentation

Requirements:

• Advanced degree in Social Work, Law, or related field

• 7+ years in safeguarding, protection, or accountability roles

• Knowledge of PSEAH and international safeguarding standards

• Strong analytical and report writing skills

• Excellent training and stakeholder engagement abilities
