As a Lead Child Protection Practitioner (LCPP), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that children at risk of significant harm are safeguarded through robust child protection processes, effective multi-agency working and high-quality professional practice.
You will provide professional leadership, oversight and constructive challenge across child protection activity, supporting practitioners and partner agencies to make informed decisions that place the safety and wellbeing of children at the centre of all interventions. Through skilled analysis, professionalcuriosityand a strong understanding of safeguarding responsibilities, you will help ensure that children and families receivetimelyand effective support.
Working closely with social care, health, education,policeand other key partners, you willfacilitateand contribute to multi-agency decision-making, ensuring that risks are appropriately identified,assessedand managed. You will promote best practice, support continuousimprovementand help drive positive outcomes for children and young people.
