About the Role:
Wirral Council is seeking an experienced and motivated Social Worker to join our Community Team South. This rewarding role involves completing strengths-based Care Act assessments and person-centred support planning for adults aged 18 and over with a wide range of care and support needs.
Working as part of a supportive and collaborative team, you will promote independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes, helping individuals build lasting connections within their local communities. The work is varied, challenging and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.
About the Candidate:
You will be a confident and experienced Social Worker with a passion for delivering high‑quality, person-centred practice. You will have strong assessment and care planning skills, be committed to strengths‑based approaches, and demonstrate excellent communication and partnership‑working abilities.
- Social Work England registration
- Evidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes
