Position: Remote Safeguarding Specialist for World Renew

In this position, you will contribute to World Renew’s mission by developing and improving safeguarding policies and practices.

Your role will include performing assessments, providing training, and supporting refugee resettlement programs. You will also facilitate communication and collaboration with different teams to foster an organizational culture emphasizing safety and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop safeguarding training materials and delivery

• Conduct risk assessments and provide practical recommendations

• Support refugee resettlement safeguarding initiatives

• Maintain essential safeguarding documentation and records

• Monitor implementation of safeguarding-related improvements

Requirements:

• Master’s in Social Work, Human Rights, or related discipline

• Minimum 7 years in safeguarding or protection environments

• Expertise in child protection and complaint mechanisms

• Proficient in safeguarding systems and risk mitigation

• Strong relational skills for stakeholder engagement
