Connect are recruiting a Young Person's Substance Use Worker to support children, young people and young adults across Wiltshire who are affected by substance use. We are looking for someone who can bring creativity, enthusiasm and a person-centred approach to engaging young people, helping them make informed choices and achieve positive outcomes.

You will join an experienced and supportive team committed to delivering high-quality early intervention, prevention and targeted support services. This is a varied and rewarding role, working with young people in community settings, educational environments and through digital platforms. You will build trusting relationships with young people, complete assessments and risk assessments, develop person-centred support plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions to reduce substance-related harm and improve wellbeing.

The role also involves delivering outreach and education initiatives, promoting harm reduction messages, supporting vulnerable and hard-to-reach groups, and working collaboratively with families, schools and partner agencies to ensure young people receive the right support at the right time. You will play an important role in safeguarding young people, encouraging engagement, and contributing to positive, sustainable change.

This role is hybrid, with opportunities to work from home and designated office spaces. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential for this role.
