About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly qualified Remote Child Psychology Consultant to provide expert guidance and support to families and educational institutions nationwide. In this vital remote role, you will leverage your expertise in child psychology to assess developmental needs, offer intervention strategies, and provide consultative services on behavioural and emotional challenges. You will work independently, utilising virtual communication tools to connect with clients, interpret assessments, and develop personalised support plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct remote psychological assessments and evaluations of children's developmental, emotional, and behavioural status.
  • Develop evidence-based intervention strategies and support plans tailored to individual children's needs.
  • Provide consultative services to parents, educators, and caregivers on managing childhood behavioural issues and promoting mental wellness.
  • Interpret psychological assessment results and communicate findings clearly and compassionately to clients via virtual platforms.
  • Stay current with research and advancements in child psychology and developmental disorders.
  • Offer guidance on creating supportive home and school environments conducive to healthy child development.
Requirements
  • Doctorate degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Child Psychology or a closely related field.
  • Licensed Psychologist in good standing with relevant professional bodies.
  • Extensive experience in assessing and counselling children and adolescents.
  • Proficiency in conducting remote consultations and utilising telehealth platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesise complex information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach.
