In your position, you will assist the Emergency Home Supervisor by investigating abuse reports and providing direct support to children in need. Your responsibilities will include monitoring placements and developing preventive educational programs. Engage in ongoing training to enhance your skills while advocating for children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver vital services to children in care
• Investigate neglect and abuse allegations
• Facilitate placements for child protection
• Regularly monitor children’s placements for safety
• Develop family support and preventive services
Requirements:
• Grade 12 diploma or GED
• Training or experience in relevant fields
• Stability and commitment to a healthy lifestyle
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Familiarity with Cree culture and social objectives
Engage in vital community work to empower and protect vulnerable children and families.
