About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Social Integration Assistant to support individuals and families in integrating effectively into their community, operating remotely with a focus on the Mahikeng area. This role is critical in providing guidance, resources, and support to help newcomers and vulnerable populations navigate social services, employment opportunities, and community life. You will play a key part in fostering inclusion and ensuring that all individuals have the support needed to thrive.

This position requires strong communication, organizational skills, and a commitment to empowering individuals, all managed through effective remote communication and service delivery channels.

• Assist clients in understanding and accessing local social services and community programs.
• Provide information and support related to employment, housing, and education.
• Facilitate introductions to community groups and social networks to promote integration.
• Conduct remote needs assessments and develop basic integration support plans.
• Maintain confidential client records and track progress of integration efforts.
• Liaise with community organizations and service providers to facilitate client support.

• Experience in community services, social work, counseling, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adapted for remote interaction.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a remote work environment.
• Knowledge of social services, employment resources, and community structures in the North West province.
