About the Role
Our client seeks an experienced Virtual Childcare Consultant to provide expert advice and support to families remotely, from anywhere. This role involves guiding parents on best practices in childcare, child development, and creating optimal home learning environments. Leveraging your extensive knowledge, you will offer personalized consultations, develop tailored strategies, and provide resources to empower parents. This is a fully remote position, ideal for a seasoned professional passionate about supporting families through digital channels, contributing to a national network of childcare expertise based in Kwa Zulu-Natal .
Key Responsibilities- Conduct virtual consultations with parents to assess their childcare needs and challenges.
- Develop personalized action plans and strategies for child development, learning, and well-being.
- Provide expert advice on age-appropriate activities, parenting techniques, and home learning environments.
- Curate and share relevant resources, articles, and tools to support families.
- Maintain detailed client records and track progress towards agreed-upon goals.
- Stay updated on the latest research and trends in early childhood development and parenting.
- Advanced degree or significant professional certification in Child Development , Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in childcare, parenting support, or early education.
- Proven ability to provide effective advice and support in a virtual setting.
- Exceptional communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using video conferencing and online collaboration tools.
- Strong understanding of diverse family structures and challenges.
