We’re looking for an experienced Learning Disability Social Worker to join a supportive adult social care team. You’ll help adults with learning disabilities to build independence, access the right support and achieve the outcomes that matter to them.

• £35 per hour
• Hybrid working, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home

You will complete strengths-based assessments, develop person-centred care and support plans, manage a varied caseload and work closely with families, providers and partner agencies. Your focus will be on supporting adults with learning disabilities to maximise their independence, wellbeing and quality of life.

• A recognised Social Work qualification
• Current Social Work England registration
• Experience working with adults with learning disabilities
• Strong assessment, care planning and safeguarding skills
• The ability to work effectively with families, providers and multi-disciplinary partners
• A commitment to inclusive, strengths-based and person-centred practice
