Advance your career with BGC Okanagan as a part-time Infant Development Consultant located in Penticton, BC. Focus on providing critical home-based assessments and tailored interventions for infants at risk of development delays or disabilities.
This temporary role allows you to work with families to set and achieve personalized developmental goals, enhance overall infant progress, and provide expert guidance. Your contributions will help foster healthy growth in infants from birth to three years, ensuring they receive the necessary support for their development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interview families to assess developmental and referral needs
• Set and implement individualized support plans
• Lead counseling and therapy sessions for families
• Document home visits and maintain accurate client records
• Connect with additional resources and support networks
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related area
• Infant Development certification essential
• One year of experience required
• Valid Class 5 BC driver’s license necessary
• Completion of criminal record check process
