Social Worker - Assessment & Intervention
Location:
West Sussex County Council
Pay: £38.00-£42.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract:
Full-Time Locum
Start: ASAP
Working Pattern:
Hybrid
We are seeking an experienced Children's Social Worker to join the Assessment & Intervention Team at West Sussex County Council.
Responsibilities- Complete high-quality assessments and care planning.
- Undertake child protection and safeguarding work.
- Carry out direct work with children and families.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
- Social Work England registration.
- Minimum 3 years post-qualified permanent Local Authority Children s Services experience in England.
- Strong frontline child protection and assessment experience.
- Excellent risk assessment and multi-agency working skills.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Working pattern:
Office-based during duty week, with hybrid flexibility and home working available outside of duty where service needs allow.
