Our client is seeking a dedicated Child Welfare Officer for a fully remote position. You will conduct assessments, develop protective plans, and provide counseling to families. Coordinating with various stakeholders, including schools and healthcare providers, is essential to ensure comprehensive support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments remotely to evaluate child safety
• Develop and implement service plans for at-risk youth
• Offer counseling support to children and families
• Collaborate with community agencies and schools for service integration
• Maintain strict confidentiality in case documentation
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related discipline
• Registered with SACSSP or equivalent body
• Proven experience in social work or family support
• Strong knowledge of child legislation and development
• Proficient in virtual communication tools and case management software
