About the Role
Our client is looking for a dedicated Addiction Recovery Coach to join their fully remote team, serving clients in the East London area. This vital role supports individuals on their journey to recovery from addiction by providing guidance, encouragement, and practical strategies. You will work collaboratively with clients, empowering them to build a sustainable sober lifestyle, navigate challenges, and achieve their personal goals.
This is an impactful opportunity to foster positive change and lasting recovery through remote support, contributing to the well‑being of the East London community.
- Develop personalized recovery action plans in collaboration with clients based on their specific needs and goals.
- Provide ongoing coaching and motivational support to help clients stay engaged in their recovery process.
- Assist clients in identifying triggers, developing coping mechanisms, and creating relapse prevention strategies.
- Connect clients with appropriate community resources, support groups, and treatment providers.
- Monitor client progress through regular virtual check-ins and maintain confidential client records.
- Empower clients to build a sober support network and reintegrate into their communities.
- Certification as a Certified Addiction Recovery Coach (CARC) or equivalent relevant qualification.
- At least 3 years of experience in recovery support or a related field, preferably with lived experience.
- Strong understanding of addiction, recovery principles, and stages of change.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and motivational interviewing skills.
- Proficiency in using virtual communication platforms for client sessions and record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload of clients remotely.
