We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join a Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) in Coventry. The MASH brings key professionals together to facilitate early and effective information sharing, analysis and decision-making to safeguard vulnerable children and young people.
This role is focused on managing contact records, information requests and probation checks, as well as attending strategy discussions. This is not a case-holding role and requires a practitioner who can work effectively within a multi-agency safeguarding environment.
What you will doThe role is based at One Friargate in Coventry. Practitioners are required to work from the office until induction has been completed. Following induction, there is an opportunity to work from home for up to 2 days per week.
- MASH Practice:
Work within a Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub, supporting effective information sharing, analysis and decision-making to safeguard vulnerable children and young people. - Contact Records:
Manage contact records accurately and efficiently as part of the MASH function. - Information Requests:
Manage and respond to information requests in line with the requirements of the service. - Probation Checks:
Undertake probation checks as part of the safeguarding process. - Strategy Discussions:
Attend strategy discussions and contribute to effective multi-agency decision-making. - Safeguarding:
Contribute to processes that support the identification and safeguarding of vulnerable children and young people. - Multi-Agency Working:
Work effectively alongside key professionals within the MASH to support timely information sharing and informed decision-making.
- Previous MASH experience is desirable.
- Experience working within a multi-agency safeguarding environment.
- The ability to manage contact records and information requests accurately.
- The ability to contribute effectively to strategy discussions.
