Social Worker - Child and Family Support

Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join their dynamic Community & Social Care team in Johannesburg . • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs, identifying social, emotional, and environmental challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with clients and relevant stakeholders.
• Provide counseling and support services to children and families experiencing difficulties such as abuse, neglect, or poverty.
• Liaise with schools, healthcare providers, government agencies, and other community organizations to coordinate services and referrals.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, documenting interventions, progress, and outcomes.
• Advocate for clients' rights and needs, ensuring access to appropriate social services and support systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field.
• Professional registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP).
• Proven experience in child protection, family support, or community development work.
• Strong understanding of relevant legislation, social policies, and support services in Johannesburg .
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and counseling skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
