• Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments to identify the social, emotional, and environmental challenges faced by clients.
• Develop tailored service plans that outline specific goals, interventions, and mechanisms for monitoring progress.
• Provide empathetic counseling and support to individuals and families enduring various life difficulties, promoting healing and resilience.
• Collabroate with clients to establish personalized service plans that connect them to essential community resources.
• Deliver crisis intervention and risk assessment services when necessary, ensuring client safety and well-being.
• Forge strong collaborations with community agencies and organizations to coordinate services and advocate on behalf of clients.
• Engage in proactive community outreach to raise awareness of agency offerings and services.
• Participate actively in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing staff training to enhance service delivery skills.

As an LCSW at Urban Renewal Center, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness, instability, trauma, and crisis situations. Your role will be crucial in navigating their path to recovery and access to necessary resources.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited university.
• An active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong communication skills are essential to effectively engage with clients from various backgrounds.
• Cultural competence and a proficient understanding of social issues impacting our client population.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities to devise effective strategies and intervention plans.

• Previous experience working in a social service agency or similar environment is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and social justice issues.
• Proficiency in using case management software and databases for client documentation and resource tracking.
