Job Description & How to Apply Below

We are looking to recruit a Vision Link Worker to join the Sight Scotland & Sight Scotland Veteran’s Team. You will work with our direct support teams to support people with Vision Impairment across Fife and Tayside. With the ability to assess the needs of Service Users within their own homes or over the phone, you will be part of a high performing team which will help lead the charity to continued success in meeting the aspirations of those who we support.

You will provide in-person support to people with vision impairment, including veterans.

If you have an understanding of vision impairment and the challenges people face or have experience in a relevant field and feel you have the skills to grow and develop the service, then we would love to hear from you.

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out home visits throughout Fife and Tayside, therefore a full driving licence is required. Where able, this role will be carried out under our homeworking policy, you will work from home. However, travel to one of our sites for face to face team meetings and training will be required occasionally.

The post is subject to PVG Scheme Record/Update.

You don’t need to meet every single requirement to be a great candidate. Most people learn parts of the job once they’re in post, so if a role interests you and you believe you could grow into it, we’d love to hear from you. We’re committed to fair, accessible recruitment. If you need any adjustments, like extra time, a different format, or other support, at any stage of the process, just let us know.
