** Are you an experienced Social Work Team Manager passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people? We are seeking a dedicated and motivated professional to lead a Children in Care team, providing strong leadership, management oversight, and strategic direction to social workers and family support staff.###

Key Responsibilities
* Manage and support a team of Social Workers and a Family Support Worker holding caseloads of children in care.
* Provide effective leadership and management decision-making across complex cases.
* Drive permanency planning to ensure positive, long-term outcomes for children and young people.
* Deliver regular supervision, including both individual and group supervision sessions.
* Chair team meetings, strategy discussions, and other multi-agency forums.
* Lead on safeguarding concerns, risk management, and ensuring appropriate interventions are in place.
* Monitor and progress care plans, ensuring children receive high-quality support and services.
* Promote best practice, performance management, and continuous professional development within the team.
* Work collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve the best outcomes for children and families.### Requirements
* Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
* Previous experience managing Children's Social Care teams.
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, statutory guidance, and Children in Care processes.
* Experience chairing meetings and making complex management decisions.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975.
