Conwy County Borough Council is recruiting to a newly formed early intervention team, based at Coed Pella. The post provides direct support to families, aiming to make homes safer and more stable, build resilience and reduce risks to children, using a whole-family approach and agreed goals. Hybrid working and flexible hours are on offer, and Welsh language skills are essential. A satisfactory DBS disclosure is required.
Whatthe job involves
- Deliver direct interventions to families to increase safety and stability
- Build resilience and coping skills within families
- Help families create a safe environment and reduce risks to children
- Work co-operatively using a whole-family approach
- Support individuals and agree goals with families
- Ability to communicate in Welsh
- Satisfactory DBS disclosure
- Qualifications and references verified
- Flexible working, including adjusting the working day
- Hybrid working, combining office and home working
- Free Welsh classes at all levels, in person and online
