Social Worker posts with St Helens Borough Council's Children & Young People Services, for experienced qualified social workers across the Children We Look After, Duty and MASH teams. The work centres on supporting children, young people and their families through social work practice aimed at better outcomes. The posts are hybrid, with some home working, but post holders must be based at the council's offices and attend the St Helens area regularly.
Applicants need Social Work England registration and an Enhanced DBS check.
- Provide social work services to children, young people and their families
- Work in the Children We Look After team
- Work in the Duty team
- Work in the MASH team, including one 18.5-hour vacancy
- Qualified social worker
- Social Work England registration
- Experience as a qualified social worker
- Enhanced DBS disclosure
- Based at council offices and able to attend the St Helens area regularly
