Job DescriptionThis is a remote position.
OverviewWe are seeking a Cloud Developer proficient in AWS services and Python to support the design, development, and maintenance of cloud-based integration components. This is a hands-on role focusing on implementation, testing, and deployment under the guidance of senior team members.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain Lambda functions and API integrations using AWS SDKs (Python/Boto3).
- Work with API Gateway, Step Functions, SQS, and S3 to build event-driven solutions.
- Assist in implementing CI/CD pipelines and automating deployments.
- Write unit tests, manage version control, and participate in peer reviews.
- Support debugging, monitoring, and performance tuning in Cloud Watch.
- Follow coding standards and contribute to documentation.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Ability to work in agile and cross-functional teams.
- 3–5 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in AWS serverless environment.
- Solid Python programming skills and familiarity with AWS SDK (Boto3).
- Hands-on with API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, Step Functions, and S3.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and Git workflows.
- Enthusiastic about learning new AWS tools and serverless design patterns.
- AWS Cloud Practitioner / Developer Associate certification (or pursuing).
- Familiarity with Dynamo
DB or RDS, and JSON-based API communication.
