• Develop core services primarily using Golang and PostgreSQL
• Accelerate foundational services to scale the output of product teams
• Resolve issues with previously delivered features and write unit and integration tests
• Peer review code developed by team members and ensure software is secure and maintainable
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers while encouraging automation and continuous improvement

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Passionate about working with Golang; experience with additional modern languages is beneficial (e.g., Python, Ruby, .Net, Java, C++)
• Hands-on knowledge designing APIs (gRPC, Swagger)
• Experience using Docker for local software development
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in a remote-first environment

• Experience with distributed systems or microservices
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture
• Understanding of modern, scalable system architectures
• Exposure to cloud computing platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure) and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)
