Android Developer

Econify is a NYC-based development shop comprised of smart, motivated developers. We primarily work with enterprise media companies, leading them through complicated technology problems. We’re currently seeking an Android Developer who is passionate about crafting performant, elegant, and maintainable mobile applications to work with a high‑profile partner.

You should have a deep understanding of Android development best practices and a keen eye for detail — someone who takes ownership of features from concept through launch and continuously seeks ways to improve the user experience. We’re currently considering US candidates that are located in New York or available to work US hours.
This position allows for remote work, but will require occasional on‑site presence.

• 3+ years of professional experience developing Android applications in Kotlin or Java.>
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, and modern architecture patterns (MVVM/MVI).
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third‑party libraries.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and version control (Git).
• Understanding of Google Play Store deployment and release processes.
• Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating within cross‑functional teams.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem‑solving mindset.
