Engineering Manager - Audio Software

Hybrid working from home and Central London Office

This is a newly created role in an established and growing enhanced communications company. Joining as the Engineering Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the team that develop audio SDKs, delivering tools for cutting edge, real time audio AI.

You'll work with AI and ML Researchers, Product Managers, Software and DSP Engineers to oversee delivery, shape SDK architecture, and ensure SDKs meet performance, reliability and usability requirements.

Leading a team of C++ developers, you'll need a balance of technical leadership and people management skills; using your strong C++ and audio processing background to make technical decisions, and your motivation, collaboration and mentoring skills to get the best out of team members.

• Experience as Software Manager, Engineering Manager, Technical Lead in software development or similar
• Strong technical background in C++, cross-platform development and system design
• Experience with SDK and library development in audio or media
• Knowledge of AI model inference (Tensor Flow, PyTorch, ONNX)
• Understanding of GPU acceleration (CUDA, Metal, Vulkan, Direct
  
  ML)
• Previous work in audio DSP, real time audio, media SDKs or plug-in development
• Brilliant people leader - enjoys mentoring, able to encourage collaboration and motivate others
