Experienced Android Developer

Our headquartered in Sofia with a team of 200 and we have a sales office in San Diego, CA.

We are looking for an experienced Android developer to join our Dictionaries and Translators team. Our two main products are Oxford Dictionary of English and Talk & Translate apps, available for iOS, Android and Windows, and installed by millions of users. We are looking for a motivated developer to join our team.

2-3 years of experience as an Android apps developer - using Kotlin and Java

Experience with Flutter mobile development (Dart) will be considered as an advantage

M.Sc. or

B.Sc. in Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent will be considered as an advantage

Experience working with version control (e.g., Git, Gerrit, Bitbucket)

Understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle

Knowledge of main architecture & design patterns (MVVM, MVC, etc.)

Knowledge of SOLID principles, clean architecture and unit and integration testing

Experience with Google Cloud APIs - Google App Engine, SQL

Experience with Sqlite, My Sql

Experience using Jet Pack Compose

Working on inspiring products in a team of supportive professionals
