As a Software Engineer, you’ll contribute to the development and maintenance of key components of our AI infrastructure. You’ll collaborate with engineers and data scientists to ensure the platform supports the complex needs of AI models and machine learning workflows.

• Work with the AI/ML team to integrate models and agents into the platform and ensure smooth deployment.
• Write clean, maintainable code with an emphasis on performance, reliability and scalability.
• Build and maintain APIs and microservices that enable AI model & agent deployment and data processing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to platform performance, integration, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand technical requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Contribute to improving AI platform architecture and workflows based on team needs and industry best practices.

We believe that remote work and in-person work have their own advantages and disadvantages, and we want to be able to leverage the best of both worlds. Employees in hybrid roles are required to be in the office 3 days per week, for the full 8 hours of a typical business day. The San Francisco office has a dog-friendly workplace program.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• 2+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on backend or systems development
• 1+ years of experience in JavaScript/Type Script or Python
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies such as prediction engines, recommendation systems, kNN searches, categorization and clustering as well as, LLMs, RAG, or agentic AI
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and services
• Experience using Git for version control and collaborating in an agile environment

• Advanced degree in AI/ML related field
• Familiarity with Generative AI technologies
• Experience with Databricks
• Solid understanding of database systems and data processing technologies

This position will have an annual salary, plus equity and benefits. Please note the annual salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. The annual salary range for this position is $133,800 - $200,600.
