Full stack React​/Node.js Engineer LatAm

As a software engineer working on our systems and services, you will work with a talented team of professional engineers to deliver projects and systems critical to businesses. You will be building a technology platform to service the entertainment industry in the United States.

We expect our engineers to be versatile, collaborative, and enthusiastic about tackling new challenges across our businesses as we continue to deliver exceptional experiences for our customers. You will work as part of a dedicated Agile team, with a high level of responsibility for technical decisions and daily collaboration with the client team abroad.

Responsibilities

• Perform critical code reviews and collaborate with peers on software solutions
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Quality Engineers to deliver high-quality, high-profile software and user experiences
• Contribute to design and implementation planning
• Troubleshoot issues on local and remote systems
• TDD (100% business logic must be covered with unit tests)
• Cloud experience (AWS preferred)
• Redis

• Jira

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4+ years of professional experience as a software engineer working in a back-end or full-stack capacity
• A strong understanding of software design patterns, development practices, and principles
• Experience working and coding with relational databases
• Experience working with version control systems (Git or similar)
• Working knowledge of common networking, infrastructure, and technical security fundamentals
• Experience using AI as a tool to solve technical and non-technical problems!

Preferred / Useful

Qualifications:

• Experience developing consumer-facing software, especially at scale
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Experience with a variety of data stores:
  Document databases, columnar data stores, Redis, Elasticsearch, etc.
• Experience with cloud technologies and serverless applications (AWS, GCP, Azure or similar)
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and/or service-oriented architectures
• Familiarity with software build, release, deployment, and monitoring tools and practices
