As a  Technical Lead Cloud Passenger Services , you will be at the forefront of this transformation, combining technical leadership with agile backlog management to drive the development of cloud services powering mobile apps and digital solutions for elevator passengers.
You will lead the architecture and design of scalable, secure cloud services and APIs, ensuring alignment with Schindler’s platform vision. Working within a globally distributed software engineering team, you will help shape the future of seamless indoor mobility by delivering innovative, high-quality digital services that impact millions of users worldwide.

Your Responsibilities
Drive and ensure future-proof software architecture for cloud backend services and APIs, aligned with Schindler’s platform vision.
Collaborate with product owners, architects, and engineering teams to define requirements and shape the technology roadmap.
Manage and prioritize the product backlog, translating business and architectural needs into actionable stories and technical tasks.
Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and release coordination across distributed teams to ensure high-quality product delivery.
Evaluate architectural and technology choices through Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and prototype implementations.
Define, document, implement, and maintain extensible and secure APIs.
Empower development teams through technical leadership, ensuring best practices and high-quality implementation.
Promote adoption of state-of-the-art architecture practices, tools, and continuous improvement processes.

What you bring
Strong understanding and hands-on experience with the Azure ecosystem and modern cloud-based architectures, including reusable services, APIs, and platform trends.
Applies modern software engineering principles with strong proficiency in architecture and system design.
Good understanding of the technology landscape and trends in cloud-based systems, Dev Ops/Dev Sec Ops  practices, and release management.
Strong experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban), including backlog management, prioritization, and release planning in Agile environments.
Demonstrated passion for cloud-based digital services and mobile applications.
Experience in product cybersecurity and secure development lifecycle.
Proven track record in technically leading software engineering teams
Fluent in English (required); knowledge of Italian and German is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
