AI Solutions Engineer

Description AI Solutions Engineer to help lead innovation around Git Hub Copilot and emerging Agent Mode / MCP Server capabilities. This role will explore how AI-assisted development can accelerate the company’s cloud transformation, helping development and QA teams modernize applications and processes.

This is a hands‑on, exploratory position that requires experience building or deploying AI tools in developer environments (e.g., Copilot, Bedrock, Lang Chain, or similar). The ideal candidate has implemented or experimented with MCP servers or AI coding assistants and can bring real-world insight to how these technologies can be operationalized at scale.

• Design and prototype use cases leveraging Git Hub Copilot Agent Mode and MCP server integrations.
• Evaluate AI‑assisted code generation and automation for development teams migrating applications to the cloud.
• Collaborate with QA and development teams to review, optimize, and guide Copilot prompt and agent usage.
• Partner with Git Hub enterprise support contacts to troubleshoot and refine technical implementations.
• Develop repeatable patterns and proof‑of‑concepts for automating tasks such as version upgrades, dependency management, and code scanning.
• Help identify AI‑driven opportunities to reduce manual developer effort and improve coding standards.
• Communicate complex AI and development concepts clearly to non‑expert teams.

• Proven hands‑on experience with Git Hub Copilot, Agent Mode, or MCP Server configuration and integration. (If experience with MCP is limited, strong experience with equivalent AI developer frameworks is acceptable.)
• Deep understanding of source control (Git Hub) and developer workflows.
• Background in software development (preferably Java, Python, or similar languages).
• Experience in cloud‑based development environments (AWS preferred; familiarity with Bedrock a plus).
• Ability to design and validate AI‑driven development or automation solutions.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills capable of explaining technical concepts clearly and collaboratively.

• Experience integrating AI tools with CI/CD pipelines or development IDEs.
• Familiarity with Lang Chain, Bedrock, or other LLM orchestration frameworks.
• Experience designing or contributing to internal developer platforms (IDP).
• Prior success leading or consulting on AI engineering initiatives for development productivity.
