Application Developer

Scion Technology has been engaged to conduct a search for an experienced Application Developer on behalf of our client, a rapidly growing healthcare organization. This is a fully remote, long‑term contract opportunity, offering flexible hours and the chance to build impactful internal systems supporting healthcare operations across the southeast.

The ideal candidate is a skilled full‑stack developer with experience in building secure, scalable web applications and intuitive user interfaces. You’ll collaborate with a remote technical team to design, develop, and deploy efficient, user‑friendly solutions while ensuring best practices in code quality, documentation, and security.

• Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack web applications using Go, Python, or Node.js.
• Build and secure RESTful APIs and manage session handling for multi‑user environments.
• Develop clean, responsive, and accessible UI/UX interfaces for internal users.
• Work with cloud technologies for deployment, integration, and scaling.
• Manage databases using SQL, containerization tools, and Git for version control.
• Ensure system reliability, security, and maintainability through testing and documentation.

• Proven experience in full‑stack web development using Go, Python, or Node.js.
• Strong understanding of secure routing, authentication, and scalable architecture.
• Experience developing and maintaining UI/UX‑driven applications.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS preferred).
• Knowledge of SQL databases, containerization (e.g., Docker), and Git workflows.
• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, documentation‑first mindset.
• Highly self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and reliable in a remote work environment.

This is a contract opportunity paying $45.00/hour
, commensurate with experience.

25–40 hours per week, flexible weekdays with weekly team meetings and deliverables.
