Sr Software Engineer; C#, .NET Core

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in C#/.NET Core to help drive the backend development of a greenfield legal technology platform. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who is comfortable driving technical solutions in collaboration with business stakeholders, and translating product requirements into scalable, modern architectures.

• Serve as a Senior Engineer on backend architecture and development efforts for proprietary legal applications
• Evaluate and present multiple technical approaches to a given problem—identifying tradeoffs in scalability, maintainability, cost, and speed
• Help guide engineering execution and ensure adherence to architectural standards, coding practices, and delivery timelines
• Design and build modern, cloud-based backend services using C#/.NET Core and Azure
• Collaborate across Agile teams to deliver high-quality software through iterative releases
• Contribute to code reviews, technical mentorship, and standardization processes across the team
• Act as a subject matter expert and hands‑on contributor in both system design and development

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2+ years in a high‑growth, fast‑paced environment
• Advanced proficiency in C#/.NET Core and experience building distributed systems in a microservices environment
  
  Strong background in solution architecture and system design — able to articulate the pros/cons of various implementation approaches
• Full‑stack knowledge including building enterprise web applications using modern SPA frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud services (Web Apps, Cosmos DB, Web Jobs, etc.)
• Deep knowledge of both relational and No

• Familiarity with Domain‑Driven Design (DDD) and cloud‑native development patterns
• Experience with Agile development practices and CI/CD tools such as Azure Dev Ops or AWS Code Pipeline
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to bridge technical and non‑technical teams
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
