Software Engineer, Cloud Engineer - Software

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications that leverage foundational LLMs and are built with high performance and scalability in mind.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including data scientists, product managers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented software.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain the highest standard of code quality.
• Contribute to the architectural design and decisions that shape the future of our AI platform.
• Advance technical progress, gain buy‑in across the organization and ensure alignment on strategic initiatives.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across the entire stack, and contribute to the on‑call rotation to ensure system reliability.

• 5+ years experience writing high‑quality production software in Python.
• Extensive experience writing asynchronous, high‑throughput software.
• Extensive experience with FastAPI, Django, asyncio.
• Experience with NodeJS, React, Type Script and/or Express.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with real‑time distributed data processing systems like Rabbit
  
  MQ, SNS, SQS.
• Passionate about exploring emerging technology, and applying curiosity to your work.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, and familiarity with Dev Ops practices.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity, making trade‑offs to deliver features today without compromising long‑term quality, and driving innovation.
• Thrives in a collaborative, fully remote, distributed team environment and has experience working asynchronously.
• Learns from mistakes, adapts quickly, and maintains a forward‑focused mindset.

• Experience working with foundational LLMs and understanding the various approaches to maximizing their efficiency.
• Experience in regulated industries.
• Previously worked in high‑growth, fast‑paced environments.

Strong preference to be Boston or San Francisco based, but open to remote within the U.S.
