This senior software engineering position focuses on building cloud software that scales for heavy use and evolves with new features. As an independent senior contributor, you will have influence to drive the direction of the build, advise product leadership, and mentor engineers.

You will join multiple teams to build innovative products in Life Sciences using the latest front-end and back-end technologies. You should thrive in a dynamic, startup-like environment while enjoying the stability of a successful, profitable company. Candidates typically have extensive experience in Java and JavaScript applications and the latest open source technologies, with background in enterprise software or high-growth tech companies.

• Participate in all aspects of the SDLC
• Collaborate with Product Managers, other Engineers, and domain experts to design and develop cutting-edge applications in life sciences
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance Engineers to ensure accurate and comprehensive testing coverage
• Contribute to troubleshooting and technical support of the product

• 5+ years of experience in software product development
• Experience with JavaScript and React; backend development in Java
• Experience with CSS abstraction layers (e.g. SASS or JSS) and RDBMS such as MySQL, Oracle, or MS SQL Server
• Strong communication skills
• BS in engineering/computer science or equivalent

• Base pay: $110,000 - $270,000
