Role Overview Green Dot Corporation is seeking a Lead Web Engineer to join the Consumer Engineering Team, focusing on building scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications that support our financial technology platforms.## ##

Key Responsibilities
* Architect and develop enterprise-grade web applications using modern frameworks and cloud-native technologies.
* Lead the design and implementation of modular, white-labeled, and localized web solutions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, Mobile, and Backend Engineering to deliver seamless user experiences.
* Drive technical initiatives to improve performance, maintainability, and scalability of web platforms.
* Implement observability and monitoring solutions to ensure system reliability and user satisfaction.
* Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices across the web domain.
* Translate business requirements into technical solutions that align with compliance, security, and accessibility standards.
* Operate in an AI-driven SDLC environment, leveraging tools like Git Hub Copilot and Azure Dev Ops.## ## Qualifications
* 8+ years of web development experience, with 2+ years in a technical leadership role.
* Expert-level proficiency in

* Experience with automated testing, unit testing, TDD, and CI/CD pipelines.
* Development Tools: VS Code, Postman, Azure Dev Ops, Git, Jira, Confluence, Figma.
* Strong grasp of web security, encryption standards, and privacy compliance.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment with AI-enhanced workflows.

** The targeted base salary for this position is $97,100 to $145,500 per year. The final compensation will be determined by a number of factors such as qualifications, expertise, and the candidate’s geographical location.
