Software Engineer (C++) – Exposure Management (Remote)

This role focuses on developing the Crowd Strike Falcon Host lightweight sensor across Windows, Linux, and macOS, delivering secure, high‑performance software that protects enterprise networks.

• Lead engineering efforts and work with Product Management to define scope of work.
• Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and collaborate with cross‑functional, geographically distributed teams.
• Design and develop user‑mode software for deployment on Windows systems.
• Own features from design to delivery and ship frequently under Agile principles.
• Collaborate with multi‑functional team in various physical locations.
• Troubleshoot product issues reported by customers responsively.
• Develop software for Falcon Discover and related Exposure Management products.

• Proficiency in C++ for Windows OS with demonstrable code quality via experience or community contributions.
• Experience shipping major features and releases in a team environment.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and ability to work effectively in a distributed team.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Experience developing on macOS and Linux (plus).
• Experience building cybersecurity-related products (plus).
• Experience developing highly concurrent, multi‑threaded, and highly reliable product code.
• BS/BA degree in a related field.

Base salary range for U.S. candidates: $120,000 – $180,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
