About Qubit Solve

Qubit Solve is an early‑stage startup pioneering the next wave of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) through quantum computing. Backed by National Science Foundation (NSF) funding, we’ve built a 2D quantum CFD prototype and are advancing toward the first 3D quantum CFD product. Our mission: unlock simulations previously impossible with classical computing—transforming aerospace, defense, energy, and beyond.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Quantum Software Engineer to join our core team and help build our next‑generation quantum CFD platform. If you’re passionate about quantum computing and eager to shape one of its most impactful applications, this is your opportunity.

Your Role

Contribute across the software lifecycle: architecture, coding, testing, validation, and optimization.

Implement best practices, including CI/CD, unit testing, and code reviews.

Collaborate with leading computational scientists and engineers.

Optimize software performance for current and future quantum hardware.

Stay current on emerging quantum algorithms and their applications.

Engage with end‑users to understand needs and deliver innovative solutions.

What We’re Looking For Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • Hands‑on experience designing and evaluating quantum algorithms.
  • Experience developing and demonstrating quantum software.
  • Proficiency with Qiskit or similar quantum development frameworks.
  • Strong programming and debugging skills in Python.
  • Familiarity with AI tools used in modern software development.
  • Awareness of scientific computing workflows.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MS or PhD in a relevant field.
  • Deep expertise in quantum computing, including publications or advanced projects.
  • Experience applying quantum algorithms to real‑world engineering or physics problems.
  • Self‑starter – You take initiative, proactively driving progress while seeking clarifications as necessary.
  • Curious – You’re eager to learn and explore new approaches, technologies, and challenges.
  • Big Picture Thinker – You seek to understand how technical work contributes to broader business success and enjoy collaborating across disciplines.
  • Articulate – You explain complex technical concepts clearly and enjoy helping end users understand the benefits of new technologies.
