Senior Software Engineer

Position Summary

Canvass AI is disrupting the industrial sector with its cutting-edge AI platform, transforming industrial engineers into data and digital engineers. Backed by some of the world’s largest companies such as Google’s Gradient Ventures, we democratize the use of AI in day‑to‑day operations, enabling industrial companies to build, deploy, and scale AI/ML models in production to realize real‑time business benefits.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our full‑time team in the USA or Canada.

• Design and implement robust microservice architectures primarily using Python.
• Build and maintain a single‑page web application with React and provide RESTful API services via Django.
• Deploy and manage services on Azure using Kubernetes; orchestrate ML pipelines with Kafka and Kubeflow.
• Drive continuous integration and deployment pipelines with Circle
  
  CI.
• Collaborate closely with designers and product managers to deliver high‑impact features that align with business goals.

• Proven experience building web applications with Python, including RESTful API frameworks.
• Strong background in React or similar JavaScript frameworks.
• Deep understanding of microservice architecture and distributed systems design.
• Track record of delivering well‑designed, thoroughly tested software.
• Solid knowledge of relational and non‑relational databases and best practices.
